Our Lambs
Texel Sheep
We seasonally have Texel breeding stock available and regularly have Texel-cross lambs for purchase as well.
Not familiar with Texel sheep? Texel rams are the premier terminal sire of the lamb-eating world. What that means simply is Texel sheep are bred with other sheep to create a great delightfully delicious lamb.
Texel cross lambs provide a lean meatiness and mild flavor. They are somewhat stocky in appearance with a mild temperament.
Our Lambs
Our lambs are polled (have no horns) and they thrive on a simple grass diet.
Our sheep and lambs live and eat on the pasture with supplemental grass in the winter time when grass growth is slow.
We sell LIVE LAMBS but can arrange to have them delivered to a local butcher for you.
